I really think/hope it's a glitch.

Than think about all those players who is collecting tons of sup runes and selling it back to traders. The price going to skyrocket!! So i think, there might (maybe, rumor, not sure) be a rollback to fix this or else in few hours or days, you'll see all the runes at cheap prices.

I tend to agree with the glitch assesment, especially considering the Gold armors people are posting with *no* rune in them whatsoever ... that screams "glitch" to me. Prepare for post-rollback whiners/complainers

I really doubt there will be a rollback though, especially considering preview weekend begins at midnight PST tonight, right? Last rollback they had shut down GW from something like 1 in the afternoon until late at night, I would think they are busy tinkering with the preview

Why would this need a rollback? Use your heads, this isn't affecting the market that severly.

The difference between everything being reset to a price of 250 gold and people who find more superior runes is rather astronomical in scale. What percentage of players farm ettins in a successful manner? Less than 5%, I'm sure. It takes a little effort to find a build, and execute it properly.

And the rollback was a major disaster. It kept the game offline for hours, angering a lot of people. It may warrant a patch in short order, or maybe it is intentional. Keep in mind all the times you got gold palaudrons with purple runes on them. I think they might fix it, or are just trying to make runes more affordable. Who knows. But rollback, I don't think so.

While it is probably a glitch, I hope they catch it quickly and don't go with a rollback. Its not going to do that much harm to have monk runes drop by 3k, and sup absorb/vigor drop by 10k (or whatever it is).

It's over. They disabled all portals and released a new build. Portals would not take you to the next area, you would just travel in the unoccupied map beyond the portal.

Well, I couldn't score a Sup Blue, but at least I did get to see the edge of the world, and I am a proud owner of a Gold Armor of Nothingness!

not any longer tho. anet updated the game again and no more superior runes out of purples... it was memorable though..

atleast i got sup vig/abs/and prot. out of the deal :P

Got a purple superior axe mastery off one of the ettins in the new quest in LA that gives faction points for luxon. Monk ettins (earthbound ettins) and ettins with orison. Drop was about 11:00AM pst.
